A video composed of footage from various weapons manufacturers’ catalogs, military exercises, and wartime actions. Shots of gunfire intertwine with the logos of weapons manufacturers, while political representatives call for fire and purchasing weapons.

Portraiture of characters from the sculpture “Angels Unawares” by the Canadian sculptor Timothy Schmalz. A group of migrants and refugees find themselves on the high seas traveling into the unknown, while the voice of the American president sends them instructions and warnings.

The Message

Found footage video composed of speeches by the presidents of all 195 countries. Their messages become one global message. That message is vague, disturbing and does not guarantee a bright future.

“Numbers” is a single-channel loop video installation composed of clips from the press conferences of the Croatian Civil Protection Headquarters. The video is conceived of a series of portraits of two members of the Headquarters through listing statistics on the number of victims and recovered from coronavirus. The counter is gradually becoming more and more meaningless and illogical, and it seems to be relative what the numerical state was today, yesterday or in the past period.
